Six sources. One API.
Earth observation data from six sources, aligned and served behind one API.
Every satellite archive speaks its own format, grid and calendar.
Optical images, weather reanalysis and climate records each come with their own resolution and timing. Most of the work in an Earth observation project goes into lining them up before anyone can ask a question.
PSE, the Planetary Sensing Engine, does that work once. It fuses six sources, Sentinel-2 and ERA5 among them, and serves them behind one API. The code is open.
What we deliver.
- Fuse Earth observation data from six sources behind one API.
- Align optical images and weather reanalysis to the same place and time.
- Check climate models against ERA5, CMIP6 and CORDEX with climval.
- Publish the code as open source under Apache 2.0.
How it works.
- Fetch
- Each source is read from its open archive.
- Align
- Grids, units and dates are brought into one frame.
- Serve
- One API answers for place and time, whatever the source.
