Security and data in Europe
Cartaia runs on our own Linux servers in Germany, and the data in the platforms we run stays in Europe. We own the whole chain, from the code to the server it runs on, so we can say where the data lives, who can reach it and how it comes back.
We take encrypted backups every night and test the restore every week. Every version is pinned, every image is scanned weekly, and we patch the whole portfolio when a vulnerability is published.
How we run what we build
The same team designs, builds and runs every system. Whoever answers when something needs attention knows the system from the inside.
We offer operations agreements in three levels, up to round-the-clock cover with response within 30 minutes. Updates, monitoring and backups are part of every agreement.

- The foundation: the platform has an owner. Patching, encrypted backups and restore tests. User and permission changes on request.
- Extended
- For platforms that carry more of the business. Everything in Standard. A higher level of service, with the terms set in the agreement.
- Premium
- For platforms that cannot stop. Everything in Extended. Available 24/7, every day of the year. Response within 30 minutes.
